I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Hi all, I'm super close to pressing the button on a 2019 Tiguan Highlander with the R-Line and Sound&Vision packages, but just have a couple of questions I can't seem to get a clear answer to.

Would this come with the wireless charging plate as standard, and also the Remote Start functionality?

I don't believe remote start is a feature yet and whilst wireless charging is common in European Tiguan's I haven't seen it come as an option in Australia yet.

Unfortunately, wireless charging is rendered mostly pointless if you are using apple car play or android auto as the phone needs to be connected via a cable anyway and that will charge faster than wireless will.

Fair enough, thanks guys. I guess I could just plug in a USB charging plate if I really wanted to anyway, but it doesn't really matter (I just like gadgets ).

One other question, is the HUD only on the Wolfsburg? I thought it was part of the R-Line package?

Wolfsburg only as far as I am aware..

I also know what it's like to be a gadget head and can understand the desire to have all of the tech stuff. Jut take comfort whenever you get into a friends car and it doesn't have a digital display, large media screen, wifi, keyless entry and push button start.

The HUD is wank. It's clunky and half the info available is not enabled and if you wear polarized sunnies you can't read it.

I've used it twice. I wish my Wolf didn't have it.

Hi All,

So stoked after picking up my All Space but at the same time dissapointed. there is this protective cloth underneath the rear plates that is sticking out on both sides. i have asked the dealer to have it removed but they have said its not possible. Has anyone else been told the same [ATTACH=CONFIG]43737[/ATTACH]

Mine went the dealer last week after I said it was peeling away, picked the car up and it was removed completly

You can leave it retracted in the top of the dash.

The only cool feature about the HUD is it rises and lowers into the dash - I feel like I’m 007.....
