I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Just out of interest, do you know when the car landed in Melbourne? Just trying to gauge how the wait may be for those with cars on the Morning Celesta.

Have noticed the tracking status has moved to 'discharged' but the next step is 'delivered from', looking at some other VINS, that took 5 days to transition status in early July, not sure what it means BTW, perhaps customs finishing with the car?

Any insight would be great, on the home stretch and being impatient lol

My car was on the Morning Celesta and the dealer just called, it's should be ready in the next 14 days.

Cheers. I believe it arrived in the country around the 7th of July. I never got a VIN or even knew what ship it was on. At the end of the day, it doesn't speed anything up so I never really pursued those things. The car was supposed to be delivered back in April, so we gave up trying to plan and just resigned ourselves to "whenever it gets here".

Getting excited now though, it's been a long wait!

So I've made the somewhat difficult decision to give up my fully optioned black Tiggy that is on the Morning Celesta, for an additional 3 month wait for the MY18 which will arrive in NOV...Was a straight swap over with no additional costs...NADCON says handover to production is 29/07/17, Check Point 8 is 15/09/17, Exit Production Plan is 19/09/17 & Arrive at Importer 13/11/17.

I've waited since Jan, whats another 3 months

You probably will! We're picking it up from Waverley, white R-Line with DAP but no sunroof.

Passed an Induim Grey 162TSI Highline on the Sydney Harbour Bridge tonight - very sharp in the dark with the led tail lights.
I'm glad I chose that colour - counting down the months 'til that is me.
A bit sad I was overtaking it in my crummy old 96KW Mondeo... it should have been the other way around!

Picked the car up this afternoon drove straight to Gippsland in the pouring rain. So much for a shiny new car, it's already filthy!
