I'm so glad I ordered my tig, even if it's just so I can read all your comments like the one above.. Hilarious, much better if you read it with Leyton Hewitt's voice..

Oh, saw a white r-line in Doncaster today, second one since MAY! She said she ordered it in Jan, and get this, picked it up in MAY 😤 (love having convos at the traffic lights).

I thought the break lights were horizontal not vertical.. Guess not..

After tracking the ship down past Spain, along and around Africa, across the Idian ocean and into Fremantle it then disappeared until it popped up again today in Victorian waters.. yippee

Can smell that leather!! It's like I am physically tracking this ship !!! Was in Durban when it docked and will land in Sydney when it docks there. Dealership dropped me an email saying end July or 1st week August. Almost there guys and gals !!

Sucks they messed up your order. DAP would be a deal breaker for me... But I guess it beats waiting until December for a re-order.

Normally I would agree, but we decided we could do without as it's mainly a city car with hardly any freeway driving where that ACC would come in handy. Like you if I reordered who knows what would show up and when, I did get a rockin deal though.

I'd be asking for some form of compensation - free first service or some accessories chucked in to sweeten the deal. That's pretty bad getting an order you've waited a long time stuffed up like that.

I think that DAP will become a standard feature on future given that likely 95% of Rlines ordered are probably optioned with it. Plus the fact that when it comes time to sell yours will be potentially less desirable.

Anyway hopefully the initial disappointment is replaced with good memories of driving your new Tig

I was initially very disappointed, but I haven't had a car for 2 months so just over it. The deal went down like this:
R line in black with sunroof, load area protecter, rear bumber protector, tinted windows. 1500 and 15000 service free. They also had given me a Passat 206 R line to drive around for 2 months whilst waiting for this Tiguan. Anyway ended up paying $53500 drive away. I think that's ok. I'm thinking that in three years when I upgrade the Tiguan R will be released.

In the end its a sunk cost psychological dilemma as the dealer knows you won't wait another 8 months for the car you ordered in the first place.

I wouldn't have taken it.... DAP is what l like the most about the car. I would try for them to find an un allocated one for u and made them lend u Car till they got it.
