Hey Eyes24, spoke with dealer last week. He informed me the ship docks on the 4/7/17 and I can have car later in the month. But I have never received any emails from VW with welcome or it's been built or shipped etc. anyways we will see what happens, just a complete different experience to others.

I think yours will be My17,week21, if your lucky my18 if started in week22.

Bang, 100% sure yours will be MY17. Mine arrives 17/7 and it is MY17. I just missed out on a MY18 build.

Hey guys, I'd be happy with an MY16, sold my car weeks ago and been driving around in my daughters 2000 model Nissan Pulsar. It will be a pleasant change once I get my Tiguan, hopefully it's Drives as good as the Pulsar LOL

Ours are week31 which is july 31-6 Aug start. Haven't heard of any delays.

Just had my monthly update email from the dealer. Latest ETA date is now Oct 30th 2017 for my new car, slipping a further 2 weeks from last months update. Considering I ordered on March 11th, for a car allegedly already on order by the dealer, it is wearing a bit thin. On the upside, that should "hopefully" mean the car gets built this month.

Believe about a month out from the build starting the car should have a confirmed build date, which is available within Nadcon, once this is locked in, it won't/shouldn't change. That's what my dealer told me and it proved to be 100% spot on.

Yeah counting down the days now, ship is steaming across the Indian ocean to Freo, due there next Monday and into Melbourne on the 15th July.

Was just 2 weeks, reckon they're back on track now looking at cobwebs experience, his 'born email' was weeks after mine and it's on the same ship.

Interestingly I ordered mine at the end of Feb. I got my 'ordered' email on 21/3. So it would be very interesting to know how they handle the manufacturing queue.
