My dealer has come back with a vessel name for me even though I couldn't find VIN on any vessels. Seems like my Tiggy is on the MORNING CELESTA due in Sydney on 26 June.
Did you ever receive the 'Shipment' email update? I assumed this would be sent when your car has been loaded onto a vessel?
Nah. Never got it. Very strange. I even checked the vessel he mentioned just now and looks like it's destination is Brussels. So not 100% sure about the info given to me.

I never received any emails from VW (apart from the dealer) so I wouldn't rely on those at all. Having said that, the info from the dealer is a bit strange. The MORNING CELESTA sailed today and is due in Port Kembla on the 14th July. I don't want to disappoint you, but if that is the vessel he has quoted then that's when it will arrive, and it may explain why you can't track it yet as it can take up to a week or so after the vessel has departed for tracking details to be up to date (as was the case for me).
The other alternatives are that it is on the MIGNONE or SALOME which are due on the 24th and 26th of June respectively, but if that were the case then you should be able to track it as they've been in transit now since mid May.
The first port of call for the MORNING CELESTA is Bruges (Belgium), which a lot of the vessels stop at, but it continues on with the final destination being Brisbane.

Thanks Gladbach.. makes sense regarding not being able to track it. The revised later date is not an issue if it is the case. I am out of the country and only come back towards end July so would only be taking delivery then. Actually hope it's on the later ship so the car does not sit on a show room floor or used for a sneaky demo etc. I will see if I can track it end next week. Hope you are loving the Tiggy !!
Just got my monthly tiguan fix at the dealership. 😁
Got a printout of the nadcon (attached )and was wondering if anyone can compare to theirs particularly the "technology package part ".What would that be?
The car is scheduled for arrival in the country on the 24th of August which pushes delivery into early September.
Personally found estimating delivery very confusing & frustrating.
Had a VIN# for about a month with dealer telling me: waiting to be loaded on the ship. Constantly getting No records found tracking on WWL (still the case currently).
Then got an "I'm Built" VW email the other day, WTF right? Given similar experiences others had, moved that one to the Bull-**** folder.
Enquring with with the dealer again, had the same answer as before: not to worry, due in Melbourne on 26 June, with "Morning Celesta". Really?
As you guys correctly pointed out, the shipping schedule for Morning Celesta is:
Melb - 15 July
Pt.Kembla - 17 July
(Yes, I've also noticed that it slipped slightly, just checked on WWL)
Now a best case time-frame for taking delivery is early August, when I'm also due to travel away. Not happy!
Anyone wants a white 162TSI fully optioned? Just kidding! But forced to re-evaluate my options...
It's annoying knowing the car is built and not going anywhere.
Heres my conspiracy theory on why there was a delay (tin foil hats optional), the Golf 7.5 lands first week of a July and they took priority over our Tigs and hence the delay as VWA were fillïng the available ships with the new golf for the showrooms.

Finally my car is on a boat, VIN showed up this morning on the "Morning Celesta" due into Melbourne on the 15/7. Hopefully others waiting will also be on it.
