I had a rather loud bump going up our very steep driveway tonight and I believe the swaybar links might have broken? It's happened once in the past, and we're now up to 150K on the Tiguan, so I'm not surprised it's happened again, due to our very steep driveway. I also throught the steering felt a bit mushy the last couple of weeks, so maybe it was a sign. Am linking a video with audio of me taking it for a drive around and back up the driveway. https://photos.app.goo.gl/cd2GLefwZaZ7sgoR9

Broken swaybar links?

Just jump under the car and have a look to see if the swaybar links are broken. If they have come loose or somehow snapped then they will certainly be making some noise while driving.
Most modern VW swaybar end links are made of plastic, so might be time to get some aftermarket replacements which are made of steel and will be much stronger.
