Have hit 10,000kms in Highline 140TDI and first fill of adBlue. Got a price from dealer - $82 regardless of amount required. Made sure it did not void the warranty and was replied to in writing and so filled up at local service station for $8.70. Got at 90 cents a litre self fill. Only precaution taken was a plastic bag and rag under the filler to eliminate any spill.

I bought a big bottle from super cheap auto and have filled mine twice from it. Dealer gave me my first top up for free.
I didn’t do the 30 secs ignition thing thing. Either not needed, or just been lucky both times that I did it myself.
It’s a pity the cost of ashley isn’t added onto the cars economy figures. Rather convenient by the regulatory bodies
Same for allowing active dpf regents on cars that force them (Mazda for example- every 200-250kms). Nearly doubles fuel use for about 20mins, which on an interstate drive, is every 2hrs and makes a noticeable difference.
To OP, how many kms remaining were there when it got topped up? I’ve done 24000kms and seem to get about 9000kms. At that point there is only about 1500kms left on the countdown.Comment
