  • Wireless Apple CarPlay possibility?

    Hi all,

I have scouted around but didn't find anything to do with this?

I was wondering what the possibility of a "software upgrade" to the Tiguan that may enable wireless CarPlay?
I love CarPlay and use it everyday (obviously), but Im looking at a wireless option now.
There is CARPLAY2air which is an option, but if this is a possibility with a software upgrade (and I do understand that there may not even be an upgrade available yet), then I'd rather wait...

I have the normal touchscreen Discover, not the PRO...

A little disappointing, but was kind of expecting it not to be that easy... guess it’s CPLAY2air then!!

        Thanks for the replies [emoji1360]

I think MIB3 that is in new Passat has it, and as mentioned above, looks like a hardware upgrade is required
Hopefully the 2021 model will have it standard

Hmm not sure I can justify $257 to save plugging my phone in. I bought a 4" black lightning cable which makes it fairly discreet.
