I used the wireless charger in a rented Skoda in Europe and noticed that when two phones were lying in the charging cubby, the MIB III display popped up a warning that there was more than one phone and couldn't charge... I can't be sure but I vaguely recall it the MIB messaging that charging had stopped - presumably when it was fully charged.
So... There seems to be some sort of communication between the factory chargers and the MIB. I'm wondering if there is some coding that might enable this feature on the Tiguan if I were to procure and install a genuine VW spare part wireless charger.
Any VCDS whiz kids out there looked into that?
