Offroad information doesn't work

  • Offroad information doesn't work

    I actived the offroad information of my tiguan(280 CL /2018 mk2) with obdeleven.But the compass and meter didn't work.Could anyone know how come it is?Please help me to figure it out.Thanks in advance.

    You may have to also activate compass and altimeter (unsure how)

    What country are you in- if an Asian country, some of them don’t utilise compass (maybe altimeter too)

    Does the gps (if an option) show n/s/e/w orientation?

      I live in Taiwan in Asia.
      And the gps doesn't show n/s/e/w orientation.Do you know how to activate compass and altimeter?

        Assuming you have the hardware installed (I’m now doubtful)

        With vcds/obd11, go to module 17(instruments), long coding, byte 10, bit 6- enable(compass).

        Perhaps there’s more to it, but it’s all I’m aware of.
