Spacer wont help, Gordie tried to code my CEL out multiple times but it still come up every few weeks, sometimes goes off by itself after a few days..

Seems to be a Tig specific thing not being able to code out fully

I had it coded out with the first low boost file which was written by RD Technik so it can be done. Putting a spacer in is a bit of a pain because of the location of the O2 sensor means the DP really has to come out to fit the spacer.

Isn't emissions related to fuel efficiency, i.e. the less fuel used the the less emissions?

Yes and no. The main measurement used for emissions is g/km of CO2. So yes if you're using less fuel then more than likely you're producing less CO2/km.

There's a few other components other than CO2 that are looked at and that includes CO, total hydrocarbons and NOx. These will depend on how well your catalytic converter is operating, what the combustion and exhaust temperature is and probably a host of other factors.

Even though you may produce fewer CO2 emissions and use less fuel, more than likely this will have an adverse effect on some of the other emissions.

Yes it's in a pretty hard to get to place. Requires small hands and a lot of patience.

Just an update on fuel consumption.
Yesterday some earlier short blasts and downshifting average comsumption is 10.6. Evening long journeys with family (cruising) so no on boost and average consumption sits at 7.2. Which is actually better then I normally had when on the standard setup which is strange but I guess everything is finely tuned and air/fuel mix is spot on.

What was your daily average if you’re now at 10.6?

I was getting around 7.6 cruising and around 11.5 with some blasts. Car is regularly serviced and fluids checked so with was surprised after new setup it improved.

Hi guys this is the drone that I am getting. Definitely from axle back but is 10x louder in the car when driving. However the pops and crackles sound nice with the turbo flutter

Will have to take it somewhere to check. Could have a split or could be the clamp you mentioned thanks.

Surprised the difference in economy is so substantial!

Am also keen to know how you're finding the IE intake, particularly idling when the car is cold - i've been getting the occasional vibration.

The IE intake sounds great and I don't have any rattles or vibration from it whats so ever. Have you checked all fittings to see if something is touching, like the intake elbow?

That’s awesome economy. I sit around 11.5 for around town and lucky to get below 8 on highway.
Best yet was returning from Qld and got low 7s, but that was fully loaded with a bike rack and roof pod
got just over 700kms on a tank of 98

Yep, that’s the problem area. I advised Gordie not to install yours too deep into the silicon sleeve, as that’s what fixed mine up. Will be keen to know if you notice anything further down the track.

Cheers PDMJO. Still haven't got any noise from it and I use the everyday. Really enjoy the induction noises pre-boost.
The only noise I do get (slight knock) but only at start-up is what I think maybe the inlet elbow metal bracket hits the bulkhead on start-up or maybe the downpipe. Gordie will check this out.
