  • Making personalisation work?

Hi - Just picked up my Wolfsburg this morning, and having a fun time working through all the gizmos.

But I'm having trouble with the 'Personalisation' feature following the keys. I have set the first two 'users' to by my wife an I, and have set personalisation to 'Manual' and then used the 'open button' on the key to relate her key to her user profile, and my key to my user profile respectively.

But it doesn't seem to follow the personalisatoin (ie. When I have her key, and open the door using keyless entry - it sometimes thinks it's me (if I've driven the car previously)).

Wondering if it is something to do with the keyless entry - and perhaps it won't do it if I actually press the open button on the key itself - but that would defeat the purpose of keyless entry quite a bit, if I had to use the key to open the door to set the personalisation. (or otherwise I'll just have to resort to swapping the profile over quickly before it disappears from the welcome screen).

Perhaps it is because my key is nearby in the house, so it is still picking that up (and if it has both keys in proximity, perhaps it resorts to the last profile?)

    Any thoughts appreciated.

Make sure to lock the car every time otherwise it retains the previous user.

No need to press the button as KESSY will detect what key it is and adjust the seats mirrors and all the settings for you.

Failing that, there is 5 - 10 seconds where you can select the profile on the dash.

    Enjoy your wolf! [emoji191]

If you miss the opportunity to set the profile in the first 10 or so seconds - what is the easiest path through the system to change it to another profile?

I end up going through the head unit but it’s a bit of an exercise
