Yes that's the kit. The only problem is that there are not many (any??) stockists here in Australia and you have to buy from overseas. Not so many will air freight as there's an aerosol in the kit of brake cleaner which makes a challenge for air freight.

That painted caliper looks great! Is that on a Golf R? The texture of the paint looks quite smooth.

For the foliatec paint, is it only one application of paint? Is it easy to mask the calipers and using a brush to hand paint? I would of though spray cans would cover the gaps much better?

This is on my Scirocco but there was also enough paint in the kit to do my wife's old Mk1 155TSI Tiguan (which we sold to but the new Tig Sportline).

I took some photos of that when I did it and looked similar but those photos before were from today so that's 12 months of wear and tear/brake dust I just give them a quick wash when doing my wheels and they come up looking pretty good.

That's correct. Used to run an import business and any aersols are banned with air freight. You can however sea freight it.

Yes I knew they did spray cans too. I haven't used them so can't say whether they are any better than the VHT cans you get here. Same issue with spray cans is getting them sent air freight. Aerosols generally have to be sent via sea/land.

I emailed Foliatec in Germany overnight and they currently don't have anyone in Australia as an agent. THey're talking to a company in NZ that may also supply to Aus so fingers crossed.

The issue is that there's a bunch of paperwork that needs to go with each shipment as it's classed as chemical goods and along with that is cost per shipment. There's is a place in Lithuania that sells it and (may) ship to Australia. They're on ebay so may be worth a shot.

Spoke with GAMart as well and it seems they are no longer selling the Foliatec products (as people are buying the paint products from SuperCheap or Autobarn) these days.

Well I just ordered a Foliatec caliper kit off ebay coming from Latvia... estimated delivery is Tue, 20 Nov - Mon, 03 Dec. Will see if it makes it here in 1 piece.
