I hate being lied to or not getting the full truth.
Yes and I've got my refund. The dealer from Alto VW blacktown told me there is no wolfsburg in that ship.
I don't know who's telling the true, whoever can deliver the car to me then I believe.
They are rush to get the car here by next friday.

I really want the car I ordered. Yep.. Wolf badge and ****ty heads up display gimmick aside, the colour, panno and the little bit of black trim and wheels. The second it was confirmed they were bring them in I started the process to order.
Would I settle for a regular R-line? Fully loaded with panno... Maybe in the grey. But I would want a 2019 build. So the waiting would be the same or similar.
What I am going to do is see how the next few days pan out with regards to information and delivery time and go from there.
A goodwill gesture from VW like a service voucher or VW accessories to be thrown in would go a long way.

Agreed, and your logic is sound. A 2019 build might take even longer right? Like delivery in March/April - which would mean a slightly longer wait compared to this (delayed) delivery.
I'm with you on the Wolf perspective, putting aside the badge and gimmick heads up display, its really the black package of which I would probably have to pay money to do if I went down an ordinary r-line route.
I would def call up your SA and discuss compensation for the delay. I think they will entertain you.
