Agreed, and your logic is sound. A 2019 build might take even longer right? Like delivery in March/April - which would mean a slightly longer wait compared to this (delayed) delivery.

I'm with you on the Wolf perspective, putting aside the badge and gimmick heads up display, its really the black package of which I would probably have to pay money to do if I went down an ordinary r-line route.

I would def call up your SA and discuss compensation for the delay. I think they will entertain you.

And my luck if I settled for an instock car from a different dealer then it would be involved in some accident on the flatbed moving between holding yards.

Not to worry, I’ve been waiting 4 months for my Wolfy and hopefully it will arrive soon... the wait (not excessively ofc) is worth it for the car you want. I once waited 6 months for the first Evoque that came out so it’s not too bad.

Oh really - you've been waiting for 4 months, and its only on the Thalatta? I would have thought it was on the first batch? I visited the dealership in late Nov and there was a wolfie there (albiet it was already sold).

Not to worry, I’ve been waiting 4 months for my Wolfy and hopefully it will arrive soon... the wait (not excessively ofc) is worth it for the car you want. I once waited 6 months for the first Evoque that came out so it’s not too bad.

Yeah. It's been a bit of a mess around. Mostly by the lease company in the beginning. Trying to get a straight quote out of them without all the inflated add-ons they rape you with. The dealer couldn't order the car until the lease company gives them the go ahead.

There was no indium gray panno roof cars in the first batch so the dealer offered one without the roof or they could order one but I would have to wait.

And here we are. Months later still waiting and the stink bugs are about to solve an airline disaster none of the millions of dollars spent in the servo could.

Yeah I ordered mid Oct and it was being built and out on the docks in Hamburg first week of Nov and it just missed the first shipment of wolfies with the panoroof setting sail by a few days only.

My car has been on some journey ever since.....[emoji3061] [emoji1314][emoji218] (not cute)

If I wanted a white Wolfie then there was plenty on the first shipment (Oberon). I keep telling myself the black Wolfie is very unique and rare [emoji847]

Yup docked at 10am this morning. If it is allowed to unload the cargo and head off to Port Melbourne then it’s a good sign....

if it hangs around Freo then we have an issue....

Contract 15 November 2018 - built 23 November 2018 and have VIN number.
Contacted yesterday by dealer saying it's close, then today saying to pickup Tuesday 29 January 2019.
I am Big Kev (excited) - sorry don't know what ship it was on. There are only 12 wolfies listed for sale on carsales today and none with pano roof.
