I wonder if this so called “Black Style” is just another name for the “Wolfsburg Edition” in other countries..

Other countries are able to individually select options. You'd be amazed at the options list cars in Europe have. Here VW Australia look to limit the number of options and combinations and we end up with option "packs".

Wolfsburg edition is just another option pack which bundles a number of factory options into the one pack. It makes it a lot easier for stocking/ordering if there's less model options. The problem we have in Australia is due to the distance from the factory it makes factory ordering a rather lengthy process and something the dealers and VWA try to discourage.

There should be some more pictures available soon as it looks like a number of regions are getting "black style" option for R-line. Ignore the wheels on this one as we'll be getting the 20" Suzuka's here in gloss black.

Ive done the black wheels and black vinyl wrap on the same parts.. They copied me.

Yea Had to wait over 9 months for a Skoda.
VW Aus wouldn't let you buy Euro/UK/NZ Options I tried for 3 months to get DCC and a winter pack

I may be wrong but I think it is easier to comply cars in Oz using packs instead of individual options. Most Asian cars only have minor accessories that can be fitted.

I imagine an Indium Grey Tiguan Wolfsburg will look similar to this Touareg R-Line Black Style.

Spoke to my dealer on the weekend - ship arriving this week. Expect 2-3 weeks from then for delivery, depending how long customs takes to release vehicle. Still expecting delivery by the end of the month.

Thanks Ryangalf your dealer is very proactive. I have not heard much. I also havery not heard about the 5yr warranty. Would have been a nice touch if the dealer emailed about that stuff. I ordered the wolfsburg at full retail price
