That car would not have the performance of a Tiguan with the R engine.

Which one would gave you the SUV space and performance?

I can get an A4 wagon for the same price as a Golf R wagon, but Golf R's still sell.

Looks like there may be a T-Roc R perhaps even before the Tiguan R....

Now this would actually be interesting.

Looks not bad. However I wonder how much a Tiguan R would cost? Low-mid $70k?

Looks like I won’t be getting a Tiguan R anymore as I’ve just ordered a Tiguan Wolfsburg instead [emoji3][emoji7]

With the announcement of the T Roc R the Tiguan R must be in the pipeline ?

Volkswagen has effectively confirmed the existence of a performance variant of its T-Roc small SUV, featuring an R badge. WhichCar is the online home of MOTOR Magazine.

Are you referring to the Golf R engine? It probably will as the 162TFSI engine for the Tiguan came from the Golf GTI.

Yes, if the T-Roc has the Golf R engine the Tiguan R should have the RS3 otherwise the T-rok will perform better than the Tiguan, Tiguan is meant to be the bigger brother to the T-rok

                            That’s never going to happen.

Imagine how many unhappy Golf R owners there will be.

And reality they want to give people a reason to buy an Audi.

Even better would be the twin turbo V6 from the Porsche Macan Turbo....

I have always thought that you should be able to pick a engine / transmission combo from the suit of VW owned parts when ordering a new car, not just have the doesel / petrol option..
