Red Light Cameras

I have added red light cameras to my POI list but would like to only view them on my navigation map without petrol stations etc, is that possible?

Yep, go into your Nav settings, then in one of the sub menus you can and tick the specific POIs you'd like.

Speed and Red lights Cameras POIs Australia - MIB ii

Hi guys,

I put together an up-to-date POI file with all the fixed, point to point and red lights cameras for the whole of Australia.

To install them follow the instructions below (credit to Primordial from vwgolf.net.au). Those are for MIBii, not sure if it works for MIBi.


1. Download the zip file from here:

2: Extract the ZIP file to the root of the SD card

3: Insert the SDCard into the 2nd slot in the glovebox

3: Press the NAV button on your MIB II

4: Press Setup --> Manage Memory --> Update My POI's --> Update --> Select SD Card 2

Done! you can now remove the SD card and enjoy your newly updated POIs!

Hi wazza, did it work for you instantly? I've been trying to add the cameras on the discover media unit and it hasn't worked.

Yes updated media unit straight away, did you go into my POI and select on media unit. They should be listed with the other factory POI.

I thought this would be a good option to have, but going to turn off/delete on mine as the beeping is now getting annoying. The locations seem a bit wonky as well, plus the notification beep is to close to the camera location in the data provided to be of any real use, especially at speed......

Most likely it can be updated to respond in a more appropriate manner, but it's got to the point where I'm ignoring it so may as well turn it off.
