Looks pretty good, especially since they have a stock Mk7 Golf R dyno’ed at 163.8kw so this would make the Stage 1 Tiguan quicker!

Did laugh at the mention of the Golf R Active Info Display upgrade [emoji12]

That's very impressive. What was the total cost?

Ordered: 2017 build date Tiguan 162 TSI Highline with DAP in Tungsten Silver and rear luggage tray. ETA: late April / Early May. I did not have to wait. I took delivery on 11 March 2017.

        Nice!

        1) How much did it cost ($) to get it tuned to go from 141.3 Kw to 178.4 Kw ?

        2) Did they add / replace any parts ?

        3) Does this tuning void the VW Warranty ?

        4) Looking at the graph, there are 2 different inversion points
It looks like after the mod, there is an increase of Power (Kw) at low revs but lower Power (Kw) at higher revs ??
Unless I am reading the 2 Blue and Green Lines wrong ...

Not my car but i was there to witness the tune car had a issue with sticky wastegate took over 20 pulls on dyno to sort it .
Alex stuck at it and did not give up end result is the 178kw atw owner was very happy 10kw atw better than the etuner tune on the other tig thread
Yes it most definitely voids your engine/drivetrain warranty if something happens
I know how much it cost but will leave it up to the owner if he wants to disclose the amount as its his car but can say a very good price for the result indeed
Ignore the blue and red lines they are pulls with the wastegate issues the pink is stock and green the 178kw pull

Don’t forget, the other etuners tune also read 10kw atw less for the stock reading. Different dynos, different time, etc.

Is there a dyno graph on the Torque (Nm) ?

So Torque from 350Nm to 425Nm and Power from 162Kw to 178Kw

Not sure why on the graph it say the base Power is 141Kw when the Tiguan un-modded is 162Kw ??

Thats wheel horsepower not flywheel horsepower the tune would be about 200kw or more at flywheel so 162kw to about 200ish kw

                        Nice!

Is it easy enough to un-mod if I have to ever go back for a warranty repair to VW ?

Unfortunately VW has caught onto this now and can see if your ecu has been flashed and triggers a counter in the software.

Sounds like it voids my warranty

Sounds very reasonable to me that you you void your warranty if you "install software" that increases output by 24%.
