Tiguan reversing lights

I found the reversing lights completely unacceptable and so i bought a cheap LED flood light and fitted it under the rear bumper. I had it wired to the existing reversing light by a professional auto electrician and now I can see behind me in the dark. A reasonably handy electrical DIY should be able to do it too, but that's not me.
A word of warning though. The rear parking sensors, and hence the auto park system, work on a very low voltage so be careful to route the wireing from the new light well away from the sensor wiring. If it is too close, or like mine cable tied to the sensor wires, it can disable the sensors and the stuff using it. It took me a while to figure that out but now it works perfectly and all for about $35.00

In fact that sounds like such a good idea I might do that myself.
DonPlease don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the wider expertise of other forum members! Thank you.
