I only read the Tiggy forum so would have missed that other post.

New maps work work a treat, no major changes yet that I have noticed.
But then again I haven’t been driving much these past few days

Interesting that the VW map update site has finally updated the Euro map to 15/6/20 version, but the ROW maps are still last June’s version which they have re-linked after having removed for some months now.
Also has the following “error” message

No yesterday I got the June map and as I said on the Golf 7 Map thread it had NOV listed but was the correct 88 version which is the current one.

Probably everyone and his dog has crashed it by everyone trying at once


I have just tried it and by going to the download button it downloads the correct map

It appears Discover Care is what the problem is cos thats not there but the map is I never use Discover Care anyway

Discovercare worked fine for me - automatically kicked off the new download the night before last, 2 hours later it was writing to the SD card.

Was there yesterday but isnt today Can still d/load the map though


It seems only the Discover PRO map is updated as the Discover media one is still the one that was there in last December at least

Glad it's available again for users to upload for themselves

If you have Discover Care on your computer it will find the new map for Pro so will download direct to your SD card

Except its not working properly and it gives a checksum error in the 3 times Ive tried it over past two days.

Yes, unzipped and copied whole folder to USB

USB works fine, why would I need to do a fresh Format ?

Because it needs to be in FAT32 for Media to read it and if the drive is more than 32gb it will probably be in ExFat
