Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Does anyone know of a way to add radio station logos to the radio station presents to a 2023 VW T-Roc City Life?

I understand that this generation of T-Roc uses the MIB3 infotainment unit which no longer has an SD card that you could previously use to add logos. There is a way to do this in Europe, you can go to the Phonostar website (a VW partner) and download a logo database, you put this on a USB stick and can then upload logos to the MIB3 unit. Unfortunately, the database is only maintained for Europe. Unless there is another way, I don't that it's possible to add logos to Australian T-Rocs.

I found this on the web......... Youtube by searching for "vw t-roc radio logos" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNo_CgCzER8

Bottom line appears to be if the radio station provides the logo, then it will show in T-Roc.
I have a T-Roc and have entered a number of Sydney radio stations and none include a logo.

Know this is almost 6 months on from original post but I added the station logos to my 2020 T-ROC 140TSi R-Line + had put them into the 2016 Golf GTI 40 Years.
Ok it had the 2x SD card slot but recall using a USB drive to add them. Logos found by doing a basic google search for Radio Station Logos and downloading the .png or .jpg file then uploading them to the MIB unit - simple process ..... or at least it was back then.

Difference is a unit with SD card slots is an MIB 2 or 2.5 unit whereas one with USB C are MIB 3 units Similar s++t Vastly different buckets.
