Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    T-Roc Exhaust Mod

    Question,
    Can I retrofit a Mk7 Golf R Cat Back (with the dual twin exhaust tips) onto a T-Roc MY21 140TSI Sport?
    Just trying to improve the rear look as a poor cousin to the T-Rock R.

    It should be possible, though it might be only possible to do the rear silencer. Won't know definitely until you have the car in the air on a hoist and position the R exhaust ...

    You will need to at least do the following:

    1) cut holes in the rear bumper valance for the exhaust tips.
    2) permanently open the valves in the Golf R exhaust as the 140TSI does not have a valved exhaust standard (i believe)
    3) connect the rear silencer to the stock pipe
