  • Amarok Dark Edition

Based on the Highline trim grade ($51,990 manual, $54,990 auto), the Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label gains bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, matt black sports bar and side steps, and darkened tail-lights, as well as black-painted 18-inch alloy wheels, rear bumper, mirror caps and door handles.

The Dark Label’s cabin adds alcantara trim with carbonfibre-look seat bolster finish, heated front seats, and tailored floor mats.

I think these are also cool, but perhaps not $2500 +++ cool, most of recent cars have had factory HID's so I definitely miss not having them. Of course to be legal you will need headlight washers etc etc etc.

This is how they look installed on 2012 Rok:
This particular model came without vision pack so the install was completely different and was completed without CECM BCM module which we can confirm is not required on any 2012 Amaroks:

I ordered one today, in white. It should be delivered in March.

I went for the Dark Label for a couple of reasons, the Alcantara seat fabric rather than leather whilst still being heated was the main one and the inclusion of all the options I wanted without having to place a special order was the other.

The first mod will be removing the side decals, but it certainly won't be the last
