OBDeleven definitely allows you to do a Regen burn.
Many people forget the more than 1/4 of a tank to do a burn
V6 Amarok’s tow best and most economically at around 2000rpm, this is also the best rev range for dpf burn

My guess is the calculated value is a back up to the measured value if the measurement system fails to initiate an automatic regen to minimise the risk of excess soot build up
