AMAROK engine cover V6 core

Hi all , need some help please,
i picked up my brand new 2019 AMAROK V6 core model last week and when was checking out under the bonnet there was no engine cover,
dealer tried to tell me cores dont come withe an engine cover, i do not believe them ,
all my research car guide reviews etc everyone of them shows a cover one.

does any body know the truth please let me know

A friend's core doesn't have one. I think the oil filler sits lower on the core too. My Sportline has an extension piece to bring the filler cap up level with the top of the cover.
