I went to Torque Time at QR today. Lets just say I was not put in the shade by seemingly much more powerful cars

Mine is in. Took about 30mins including jacking the car up and zipties on the cables. I think I could have installed it more neatly but as it's due it's first service in the next 2 months, it'll be out again and I can do version 2.

The scary moment is when you reconnect the battery and the system throws up all the warning lights!

No need to disconnect the battery, open the bonnet leave the car unlocked, locate the keys away from the car and let it sleep 15 minutes, don't open any doors while connecting the JB1 once connected your right to go any warning lights will go once you start driving.

Ah, cool; I didn't know that. I've always disconnected batteries in my cars before working on things in the engine bay. This is handy to know.
