Because VWA not supporting it.Originally posted by llanfachreth View PostWhy would this not be enabled already?
I have it enabled in mine but I have been told VWA saying no to dealers. Not sure why, it's stupid. The system works so just enable the thing!MK7.5 R|Lapiz Blue|DAP|Sunroof|Tint

Well today was a good day... traded in my 13 GTI PP for a new Wolfie R in Lapiz Blue... I opted out for the sun roof as am not interested in that. Pickup is on the 18th of this month.
1st thing is it will go in for an Opti Coat Pro + treatment to exterior/interior/wheels off and fully treated/calipers and the glass all around.
After that some tint... can’t wait...MK7.5 Wolfsburg.....

Hey doggieOriginally posted by DoggiesUtd View PostCongrats on the new ride

I have had my alltrack coated since new (different product than opticoat its a glass/ceramic coat) and can highly recommend it if your keeping the car longer than 4 years less than that its not worth the extra cost
I went a glass coat instead of opticoat for the glossy always freshly waxed look
Check the detailing thread i have a extensive review of my whole process from start to now (its the pomponazzi 880x thread)
Good luck with your new beast Last edited by Kachingg; 05-11-2017, 05:33 AM.2017 Golf Alltrack 135tdi All options Last edited by Kachingg; 05-11-2017, 05:33 AM.2017 Golf Alltrack 135tdi All options

 Thanks
Picked up my rline tig a month ago
But will only keep for 5 yrs max then trade
I bought a cancelled order and they tried to upsell paint protection to me
 I obviously said no
But upon pick up they told me it had already been done and handed me a bucket of goodies
It beads a little in rain and cleans easy
 But doesnt look like pomponazzi
 Lol

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the sensors when reversing but retain the rear camera image? When I disable the sensors the camera image disappears.2018 Golf GTI, Manual - gone.

It is scratch resistant but if you want to try hard enough( i.e using a sharp metal object) you can mark it but everyday use it is remarkably resilient to damage i have had someone open their door on my passengers side and leave a markOriginally posted by llanfachreth View PostDoes it prevent swirls? but it came straight off with a damp microfiber cloth and no damage or scratch left behind but it came straight off with a damp microfiber cloth and no damage or scratch left behind

There are a few you tube vids on pomponazzi with people hitting coated cars with the plastic end of cigarette lighters and just wiping off the marks with no damage

Main benefit apart from scratch resistances is the always freshly waxed look and being able to hose your car off with a pressure wash to clean it dirt and dust/bird poo ect just come right off without using any cloths or harsh cleaners

When i do wash by hand i use the 2 bucket system and a ph neutral detergent but i only do that about once every 3 months i usually pressure wash 2 or 3 times a week (car sits in a dusty yard with lots of traffic so gets very dusty quickly)Last edited by Kachingg; 05-11-2017, 05:58 PM.2017 Golf Alltrack 135tdi All options
