If it does replace the spare wheel, is that even legal, I thought all car's have to have a spare wheel?

Lots of cars have no spare wheel these days, not even a "wheelbarrow wheel" (spacesaver). Pretty useless idea as soon as you have an unrepairable flat outside the metro areas.

They don't have to have a spare so long as there is some kind of repair kit (read can of goo) but my understanding is that the sub sits inside the spare.

Yup just remember to do the sub fix when you get it!
Ie take sub speaker out and stuff cavity with acoustic foam
I have not done mine yet but its on the list of things to do
Along with that cool footrest in previous post and paddle shift extender

Agree on the footrest. I've seen it in vids of the overseas alltrack models but deleted here.

Hey guys, have been quite busy last few days and hence couldn't post an update. I took delivery of MK7.5 GTI last week. Probably the first in Sydney [emoji57]. Loving the car. Now waiting to get tint and paint protection done over the next couple of weeks.

Envvvvyyyyyyyy!!!!!! Mine is still on a boat somewhere around Canberra's coastline sighhhhhh.. Same taillights as the standard golf range i see? Did u go for the lux pack?

Thanks all! GabrielT, I think yes lights are the same as normal golfs. But dual day time running lights! I didn't opt for Lux pack. Only DAP.
