So did u get both drl lights running? I had a look at the rline golf and both drl only lights up when you are using high beam. Haven't seen the new gti or r yet.

No not yet, user DV52 went through the admap but it seems that there are more settings needed to be done than it was before, if it is even possible. What I've understood is that if the car has the dynamic led front light option then it has the two DRL and blinkers on. I do not have this, but there is clearly somekind of hardware for it, as there is also some led bulb in the top of the inner light housing that I do not know what it does.

Oh do you mean dynamic light assist or dynamic cornering lights (not the strobing blinkers)? So do you only have one blinker activating for each side as well? Or do they all light up when you signal?

I am not sure how they are called, I have only one blinker activating on each side.

At the dealership today,
Saw a 7.5 highline in the new atlantic blue with the new pure grey leather. I think its an ideal colour choice to go with. The blue is a little lighter in sunlight than the night blue, but looks similar when there isnt great light. Looks classy too.
Grey is lighter than the vw brochures or configurators percieve, and looks more natural and more interesting than the black, an looks more premium.

saw a tumeric yellow comfortline wagon, an i think its to much yellow in a wagon. Good in hatch r line form though.

didnt get photos, an just giving an opinion.

Thanks for the photos Eyes24. I went and checked out this model today too (although only could test drive the previous model). I have to admit, the Spielbergs are growing on me.

It's also interesting that the leather seat design has changed from previous. I'm not sure if I like is much as prefer the pure black look, but at least it was comfortable.

Sorry didn't take note. Front door strip (guards) have a blue line led light on them , which looks nice, Aug 15 is launch date.

Nice. Like the ambient lighting in the golf. Checked out a rline the other day, drl only light up on one wing each side. Hope that it won't be the case on the performance range. Saw one 7.5r all wrapped up in the caryard, probably just arrived a few days ago.

I checked on Wednesday on the Golf R and both lit up in the showroom. I asked specifically because of the promo pictures only showing 1.

Awesome! Thanks for that info! Probably a feature added in the dynamic cornering light on DAP for performance range (as stipulated by username123 previously)? I tink this is not feature standard on the released golf range other than the alltrack premium.

I know the drl both light up in the alltrack premium models which i am happy about just 1 would have been lame
