Can anyone help with my Golf Gti facelift 2017 settings? I have the outer DRL and blinkers working, but not the inner ones. I see that there are bulbs inside the inner stripes but they for some reason are not illuminated.

I would like to make it work so that both DRL stripes are illuminated and also the inner blinker would blink.

Anyone knows how to do it already for the facelift?

Sorry to be out of topic here,but you already took delivery for the gti facelift version? Care to share some specs with us?🙃 Didn't get much details from dealer though.

Oh right, cheers. Interesting they've changed it - thought Lapiz would remain synonymous with the R.

Ralfi, Lapiz Blue is not synonymous with Golf R's, only the Mk 7. The Mk 6 was called Rising Blue, the Mk 5 R32 was called Deep Blue Pearl, all of which are slightly different colours. IMO that the Rising Blue was by far the nicest of all of the R blues.

You got your GTI already....? Not sure if troll or not.

If not, it would seem they disabled the inner DRL on the aus spec golfs... this is not good.

I will be seeing my dealer this week. Will ask him about it. Funny thing is that there are golf R in the some dealerships already but haven't heard any that have a demo gti yet. Hmmm

I know its trivial but if they did change the way the DRLs work, this annoys me more than not being able to get the dynamic rear led lights on the GTI.

Hopefully the hardware is all there and can be re-enabled via VAG-COM

Hope so too. Planning to get some accessories on the way while anticipating delivery. Seriously contemplating getting the aftermarket dynamic rear tail lights. Might have some fun if it needs to be programmed rather than plug and play.

it's the same lapiz blue, the blue shades look different due to various lighting

I haven't ordered yet. Hoping to put an order in closer to the end of year. Hoping it'll be a bit easier to haggle down pricing by then.

Yes I have the new Gti Perfromance, but also I am located quite far from Australia also. More precisely in northern europe.

The DRL settings might have something to do with if you have opted for the dynamic front lights, which I did not do. We do get the dynamic rear led lights as standard here.

I also did the scandinavian rear light mod so that they are on with the light switch in auto. The old pre-fl coding worked. I has to use the latest vcds beta version although to get to do adaptations.

So did u get both drl lights running? I had a look at the rline golf and both drl only lights up when you are using high beam. Haven't seen the new gti or r yet.
