      @WetNoodle

      Your car has been towed to somewhere else, my friend has just called me. Therefore, we can't keep track what is going on for your car.

              Thanks for the photos

              The only reason I'm moving the car is I don't see any other golf around the workshop. So I don't feel comfortable leaving it there. they have lots of higher end vehicles in there tho just not a golf I just want someone that worked on the golf before to fix the car. The car is MY15.5 and I didn't want them to get mixed up with the MY15 which could have different sensors between the DAP1 and DAP2. So many different variations with the golf. They could have ordered the R-Line rear bumper. So just to be safe I decided to move to car. Nothing against their quality of work.

                      If I knew your car was there I'd of left mine there saw two mk7 at the new shop with front and rear bumpers removed. saw a before photos when the bumpers were on. Looked way worst than mine but not much damage once bumpers were removed

                        Have you been quoted wait time for the parts? For me and a friend, the tailgate was the biggest issue. I waited 3 weeks for the Wagon tailgate, my friend waited 4 weeks for a hatch. They had to be shipped in from Singapore. Here's photos of our injuries... hopefully you won't feel as bad now

                        $8k damage bill

                        $12k damage bill (broken glass + rear right quarter panel damage as her car was pushed out into traffic and t-boned as well...)

                            April / May last year for both cars.

                            I called VW about them, apparently they see no need to store tailgate as spare parts in Australia at the time.

                            I asked why that was the case given the large percentage of crashes are nose to tail, they just gave me some fluffy answer that meant nothing

                                Ya all good. The repair was top notch

                                Yours looks mostly cosmetic, should be alright.

                                They will check if chassis is in alignment etc and can correct them to manufacture spec, and it's all computerised
