EDIT: By the way, the car is MY18.5 confirmed! Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist and Active Lane Guidance are all on the package. Stoked!!! The storage compartment under the passenger seat is also deleted as per the changes made to the 18.5. Sad to see it go, but not really necessary because there's so much storage anyway.
Yes, they forgot the bloody Wolfsburg badge!! I'm devastated!!! So apparently they have "sent an email to Germany" and they will send it over. They said they have no idea how long it would take! It's crazy how much that small little badge means to me. But it's the cherry on top of the cake. Without it, it feels lacking.
Well that's a bugger ! But don't expect too much as a result of the "email to Germany".
It seems these particular Wolfsburg badges are made by a small business in Melbourne especially for VW Australia, so I doubt that ze Germans will know anything about them.
Tell your dealer to contact VW Oz instead. The genuine article is available as a (very expensive) spare part, I have one. But actually I prefer the look of the aftermarket version with the black background, silver castle and red dog.

My dealer has also confirmed TJA will be on my 18.5 Wolf arriving End of Feb/March.
TJA will be available on all cars built after production week 45 and mine should be from 50.

Does TJA show up in any of the menus? Did they get rid of the ESP/TSC button to the left of the shifter as well?
TJA is now merged with Lane Assist, or more correctly, Adaptive Lane Guidance. Can be toggled on/off with the same selection mode as the adaptive cruise control.
The ESP button is still there (thank god!). I believe they just removed that on the base Golf.
The R still has 3 modes; ESP On, ESP Sport and ESP Off.

So does TJA actually show in the menus or anything? My (regular) R was built in week 45, still has the ESP button, no passenger side drawer, but no mention of TJA in any menu. To be fair, I haven't used cruise control much on account of still running in the engine.
I've gone and added a Driver Profile and lost all the radio logos, anyone done this and how did they fix... I asked the dealer to email me the logos and I can upload - said I should go by and get service to do... surely not!
