I ordered the original silver ones to be powder coated - 800 all up. It’s looks way better in my opinion

Went to the dealer yesterday to buy an R and walked out with signed papers for a Wolfie. She’s in Lapiz Blue. They had one with or without a sunroof. I opted the one without as I’m not into sunroofs. Delivery date is in two weeks on the 18th. Can’t wait. Will post pictures ASAP...

Congrats. You did well on the wait time! Most of us that have ordered one have been waiting over 6 months for ours. I ordered same specs as yours in May and haven't got a delivery date yet, but the boat it's on is expected to dock in Melbourne on the 7th December.

My dealer gave a much higher price for the Wolfsburg Edition Golf R than the $57990 indicated in this Carsales article (like about $5k higher). Is there a bit of extra margin being built in here by the dealers or is it just likely to be the usual dealer delivery charges etc.

I suspect the Carsales prices are not Driveaway prices and you dealer’s is.

Picked up my wolfs wagon on the 21/10, and forgot this thread was open. Has about 2k kms on it now, and loving every minute of it. Has anyone else here done the resonator delete on the wagons though.
