Your boat might not have delays but hopefully once off the boat, it's not stuck in limbo mine mine currently!
My dealer said it should be ready by Friday but still haven't heard from him so I guess I'll rule out this week as well.

Sometimes a special order form is required and a VIN to order. It's to stop anyone off the street putting a limited edition badge on their 118TSI I would imagine, but really can't confirm.

At this stage of the game I'd be applying strong pressure to my salesperson to find out exactly where it is and exactly why it has been delayed - make them earn their commission ! I'm sure they can find out if they really wanted to, otherwise how would they even know if a car was stolen somewhere in the supply chain.

I haven’t experienced it yet my car is due in the country at the end of the month. But I have been told it can take up to 3 weeks. Sometimes it can be 3 days to clear customs other times longer.

My dealer said 3 weeks as well, but that seems excessive to me.
Only well, as long as it's just a logistics hold up then I can live with it and all good, but if the car was damaged then I'll be pissed

Exactly - there's nothing limited about the badge, it's just something they've tacked on here to differentiate a run of cars aka BMW Pure models etc

I don't think anyone's in a hurry to actually add it to their non-'Wolfsburg' VW.
