Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

          When I was collecting mine yesterday my salesman said the delays look like they will be even longer for non-wolfsburg R wagons - not good news for wagon lovers
          2017 MY18 Golf R 7.5 Wolfsburg wagon (boring white) delivered 21 Sep 2017, 2008 Octavia vRS wagon 2.0 TFSI 6M (bright yellow), 2006 T5 Transporter van 2.5 TDI 6M (gone but not forgotten).

                  Just swapped my order from a sunroof to no sunroof wagon. Now delivery is October instead of December/january. Car is actually on a boat rather than yet to be made.

                  Also anyone in adelaide looking for a white wagon main north road solitaire has a white wagon

                      No news yet. Though VWA are saying they just made a mistake on the Comm number check. Dealers says it is still arriving late Dec. have forwarded VWA email to dealer to sort it out.

                        Yeah my original order was due to arrive around Dec 10 into the country with a upto 3 week timeframe from the docks to delivery. But they said it could vary just depends on customs

                          What car spec did you guys get?. I'm ment to be December and got hatch with roof.

                            I was supposed to have a wagon with roof but just swapped it to a wagon with no roof. Means I take delivery of the car end of next month or early November.

                            Dealer is also making the wheels black as well as I'm not a fan of the silver rims.

                              Yeh I prefer the the black as well though dealer said couldn't do much about it. Are the colouring for you or getting actual black ones. ?
