I've just been told my Wolfsburg hatch with sunroof won't be here until late March! Does that sound right? :/

Correct. I cancelled my March delivery, now back into a December delivery for a Hatch with sunroof with another dealer.

Yep! Got a COMM number off my dealer, 5 digit sequence of numbers. He spoke to the stock controller who confirmed (for now) a Week 42 build (week beginning Oct 16). This then equates to an early? Dec arrival. Did disclaimer that it may or can be delayed if theres further supply issues or say poor weather on the seas which I think is fair enough. If delivery to Aus ends up late Dec then its also fair that that turns into an early Jan delivery since no one on the docks or PDI people will be working over the Christmas/New Year period.

Once you get a COMM number you can call up VWA and ask them to trace it too (thanks Mr T)! Did as such and they just told me exactly the same thing. Don't think we'll get VINs until it goes into build. For us December deliveries I guess we will know if December is an accurate delivery time if it goes into build in October. I believe we will get an email directly from VWA when it goes into build.

Normally takes 9 weeks from start of build to landing. So should land week 51.

Which equates to the week beginning December 18 then! Guess it may be early January after all which isn't so bad.

Must also admit quite glad to have ordered the Wolfie version, did have my doubts but now firmly in love with the rims and seats. Though I do note you can get 18in versions of the Pretorias from VW as an accessory from their brochure (Woflie comes with 19in versions). Also anyone ordered a Black standard R or Wolfsburg!?

Exciting times! I remember when my car was on the boat and I was stalking it on the ship tracking sites.

If anyone can't wait until next May for a new Wolfsburg Wagon in white, with sunroof, I'm selling my 2015 model on Carsales:
