Wolfsburg Edition Golf R

I am really disappointed with my Wolf ariiving with Silver Pretoria. My previous golf 6 R with Talledegas left these for dead looking!

You can probably find someone willing to swap or buy your Pretorias (particularly if you take them off without driving your car). I'm looking for one silver Pret myself (I prefer to have a full size spare rather than a space saver, and I can then swap 5 wheels around to get better tyre wear).

Had the chance this arvo to pop into Brighton VW to catch up with the dealer. Yep still looking like Dec for me, got a COM number and a build week to go off which makes it all the more real and easy to follow without badgering the poor sod so much!

Also saw two Wolfies they had in, both white one hatch one wagon. Photos below! Krazykatz might be yours sitting in the delivery bay! Congrats mate it looks gorgeous. Light metallic sheen to the Oryx White really makes it special. Also now for some reason definitely Pretoria>Spielberg, once you get some tire shine in the Pretorias they really stand out.

Didn't look closely but I do know that he does have a fair few being delivered over the next few months! Particularly the really popular 162TSI's! 8 month wait list for those if you ordered today?

The car looks great but does not stand out to say "Wolfsburg" with the grey wheels. I have decided to order the Black Wheels. It would be nice to see the difference with the interior too!

Picked the Wolfsburg up yesterday, 7.5 makes a great car a greater car if that's possible. The overdrive 7th gear going to be good for cruising 100 kph is 1750rpm, Dynaudio sounds fantastic, digital dash terrific, hi-res infotainment, LED headlights, electric mirrors, electric drivers seat more more ... only done 30km going to get the front wrapped to avoid stone chips. Unfortunately away till October will report back then.

Picked mine up today. Love it so far, only done about 20kms. Definitely more refined than my 2015 STi. Lots of reading to do now I think.

CONGRATULATIONS ! I'm jealous, as I won't get mine for another month (and I'm still better off than many others who will be waiting for much longer than either of us). Please let us know what you think of it when you've had a chance to get used to it.

And yes, lots of reading in the Owner's manual figuring out how some of the bits and bobs work When I went for a test drive recently the salesman tried to explain to me how to program the two keys so the memory sets the seats for different drivers as you walk up to the car and get in, but I must confess I didn't understand it very well (IIRC it was something about different profiles and linking keys to the different profiles).

Got the news yesterday, my June order due December is now April next year. Not happy.
