Hi all,
have been looking through here for updates as my dealer has been a bit quite...

Currently have a 7.5 wolfsburg hatch on order, deposit placed some time in June.

Got the call today to confirm, that Wolfsburgs arrive in Aus in two batches, one in December and one in February. Yet to find out which my ones in, should find out today or tomorrow.

Did anyone else with a pre-order hear anything else or similar?

Did you hear from your dealer or directly from VW Oz?

From the dealer, he said a guy came past (I assume from VW aus) last friday to update them...and the same 'mystery man' to update him as to which allocation mine is on

I didn't get that info. I was given a commission number only having pushed VWA customer service and said that late Jan build and possibly March delivery. Not Feb.

I have been told mine is on track for arriving November with a December delivery.

Had originally put a deposit down with another dealer in May who called about a month ago to say I wouldn't get it until February. Did a mad ring around of every dealer in NSW to see if I could get one sooner.

I don't understand when a new car launches and they can't meet reasonable delivery. It launched in Europe over 12 months ago FFS. Do they only one person at stock control at VWA?

so did you end up calling up different dealers and going with a different one that was able to confirm a delivery in December?

Correct. Pretty pissed off that by putting deposit down in May they couldn't secure me one of the few August deliveries

Just ordered a Wolfsburg Wagon with sunroof in oryx white with euro black plates @ $67200 - delivery not confirmed but sounds like Dec or Jan 2018.

Mine (Wolf wagon, no roof) is supposedly currently off the coast of South Africa on the ship "Morning Lucy". I believe it was an allocation to the dealer that was on order before I claimed it. According to the salesman I talked with today VW have had supply problems for both the active display (dash) and the scrolling (dynamic) rear turn indicators. If that is so then you'd expect the wagons to arrive sooner than the hatches (because the wagons miss out on the fancy scrolling indicators).

I did enjoy a test drive in a new std 7.5 hatch R, and the 7 speed DSG gearbox was better than I remembered the 6 speed was. I'm looking forward to getting mine - hopefully around the end of Sept. It is supposed to be the first Wolf that my dealer will get, I even snuck ahead of one of the bosses in the dealership (possibly because he wanted a sunroof and mine didn't have one, or maybe he wanted a different colour).

So i just spent a eye watering amount of money today.. i lost count at 17k on my extras 😯 hopefully should be a sweet package once i get the bloody thing 😂😂

So finally got word of my wolfsburg being on the February delivery...there's no way I can go through the whole of summer especially without a car. After calling around a bit I found a spare white wolfsburg hatch due in a month or two at south yarra but without a sunroof.

Anybody know of any other dealerships of any wolfsburg hatches floating around un-allocated earlier than February with a sunroof?

Otherwise Ill just look to pickup a floor model standard golf r off the showroom floor thats mine in 2 weeks if I give the go ahead.
