Fitting Folding Mirrors to the Mk7 Golf

Can anyone help me confirm if AliExpress power mirrors mated with a UKDM interior switch will work on an MY16 GTI?

I've read on vwvortex that AliExpress mirrors are fine but I am hesitant as they do not provide a RHD interior switch.

Do I even need a switch or can the AliExpress one be modded to fit an Aussie RHD car?

Don't touch them they are built for left hand drive cars only. I made the same mistake.
