I know it is the case for Europe, up from 140PS to 150PS, seeing as the factory made these changes for the MY15 revisions I would assume us guys at the bottom will see the same changes.
I have a 1.4 TSI coming at the end of September, I am expecting it to be 150PS but nothing confirmed.

Can't blame them though ,to 95% of buyers cars have just become mobile lounge rooms and it's more important to them as to whether they can hook their phones up via bluetooth or whether the NAVsat will talk to them or how comfy the seats are and how many cup holders there are.
The fact it actually has a 4 cyl engine let alone a turbocharger would probably be met with "and how does that affect MOB reception"
So the fact that they might be getting an extra 7 kw would be seriously lost on them .
Getting back to your question though ,it's more likely to be a software/ecu tweak to get Euro 6 compliance ,but that's just my guess .

Do we know if this in fact available on MY15 Australian builds as well?
*Can never tell as VW doesn't like updating their advertising materials... And when they do, it's often only half right.Golf MK7 103TSI Highline Wagon | Limestone Grey | DAP2
