any other MK7 Golf owners with similar gap?
Mine is an my13 TSI, not a MY14 GTI like yours. That notwithstanding, I would definitely complain loudly (and with purpose) to your dealer. The dealer might try to run a bead of silicon along the gap, but I would ask to have it fixed properly.
You might even try discussing the problem with the inappropriately named Customer-Care folk at VW Australia. My past experience has been that such exercises are better described as "the delicious futility of an impossible task"! But, if you have the time and the internal fortitude for doing battle with a large industrial conglomerate -like VW, give it a go!Last edited by DV52; 11-05-2014, 03:06 PM.Please don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the wider expertise of other forum members! Thank you.

MY14 GTI, appears to be a uniform fit all the way along.
