Haha, yes it originally started as assistance for me to select wheels for my 14 GTI.. somewhere along the way I made far too many car swaps and wheel changes but it has culminated with me "coming home" in the last week or so with a GTI ED40 aka Clubsport and the shortest wheel shop I've ever had: only three weeks.

I’m actually surprised how painless this purchase was.

I guess once you’ve looked at enough wheels you know what you like and what looks good.

Shortest??? Felt like eternity hahahaha

Well unlike the car hunt the wheel selection was relatively painless. Once Pretoria's for $4k were ruled out it was a relatively straight forward decision. In the end good taste prevailed and we expect this thread to be updated with both sets of wheels/cars in the coming weeks.

I've taken longer on wheels then you spend on researching, buying, modding and then selling a car.

OZ Ugglies, gloss black to play off the gloss black fitted to the ED40/CS.

I'm 4/4 now on the spaghetti since buying Euro cars - the hotdog/sushi I had lined up for the Wolfsburg doesn't count.

And as I think I have mentioned somewhere around here, the meatpie aka ROH Azzurros I had on a V8 Commodore once upon a time was actually channeling a Euro look. Funnily enough, the Azzurro that comes up today for ROH looks more Ultraleggera than Superturismo LM, but you cannot deny my consistency even in my yoof.
