Speaking of OEM applications, VW Omanyts:

I really like this because people will look at it and think it's an OEM wheel but not have seen it on a Golf. Kind of custom OEM.

I regard it as somewhat "authentic" and respectful of the marque, whilst still being slightly custom or different.

Actually, these wheels seem a nicer drive than the original Cadiz.
Suspect the Audi wheels might be lighter, but I didn't take any weight measurements.
And I'm using the identical rubber, swapped over from the Cadiz set.
Since you asked, when time permits, I'll share some pics. All good.

Please do - nice to have an Aussie car running S3 wheels actually posted up. Both those and the twin spoke (the alternative SPP wheel option I had on my S3) look great on the Mk7/7.5s.

The Cadiz are a very heavy wheel, I suspect the Audi star would be a few pound less - be easy enough to check if I had time.

True, but I just wanted something cheap and tough to get me started so I wouldn’t have to care about hitting ripple strips, etc.
I’ll get something light one day

BBS don't do a Superturismo LM style wheel.. but I could be wrong.
