Dutch, any chance you can reach into your magic hat and find a picture of a white GTI on 19" Cadiz wheels? I'm finding some on Carbon but bupkis in white. I was keen on a trade but the pics I'm finding are not really doing it for me. I know you dislike the Santiago wheels quite a bit, but I've grown rather attached haha.
    LOL, no comment.

Personally (and not to get in the way of a good trade here) I am not a fan of the polished/hyper silver/diamond cut/whatever you want to call it finish on the Cadiz against white. On deeper colors - black, blue, even red - I think I could live with them but if I had a white car I'd want to change (and I almost bought a new Mk6 R in white with black Talladegas once upon a time - before realising the Speaker needed a new car which is how we ended up with the Polo in the family a while back).

Can you just pretend these wheels are a little bigger and 19s?

If you blur the pic a little you can hardly tell.

I came from 19 inch Santiago, and now on 18 inches.
18 inch rides tonnes better than 19".

I was really happy with my GTI on 18s, but did not get to ride in a 19 inch shod Mk7.

18s are cheaper, lighter and still look the goods - although 19s will look better with some wheel designs. If in serious doubt try and test drive a couple of Mk7s with both over the same road to see how they feel.

wasabiz, you ended up on VWR springs?

Don't think I've ever seen someone run this wheel in silver before.. so here is one.

I do miss the looks of 19s tho, been keeping my eye out for team dynamic wheels or VWR.

Yeah I've been on vwr Spring since I had the Santiago. They've been really good so far. Thinking of going coilovers once the shock goes out, saw the price of each shock.... Not prepared to pay such price.

But by then, I'll most likely change car already. Trying to fight the devil's whispers right now.
