I reckon they suit the Mk7 more than they do the S3... which is possibly why you see them on approximately 0.0004% of S3s. (Well, that and everyone smart gets the S Performance Pack with better rims.

Like & Agree.... Although Dutch should still look at something other than "Stock" even when running the V-spokes.

Maybe a swap & upgrade gents? AdamD takes the V's & Dutch shows us his personal taste in upgrades ...

Dutch is still kidding himself that he'll be able to keep the mod bug at bay. I am amused by this notion.

I'll likely go with a set of 19" BBS CH-Rs, or VMRs, or something else along those lines down the track. I wouldn't "upgrade" to stock rims; as it is my 18s are a special order and I don't know of any other S3s running them.

I'm glad you are amused. Absolutely no plans to change wheels. For now.

I reckon we could do a good deal on 2 sets of CH-Rs down the track though, although I may cheat with the 810s.

Perhaps I'll make a move after Mr xR360 finally buys a set after nine months of discussion?

I think you can 'upgrade' and stay in the family though (with apologies for dragging this thread even further off topic, albeit we can all admire a clean set up):
