hey dutch what kind of products did you use to maintain you LM wheels and don't ruin the matte finish?

It wasn't matte - it had a gloss clear coat type surface on it - has it changed now?

I had them opticoated regardless by my local dealer at the time.. sigh.. four wheels in Adelaide done for less than the price of one in Melbourne lol. Then a separate wheel cloth - microfibre - with the car wash bucket to help remove the six kilos of GTI brake pad dust every time.

Hear you on the break dust. I only have 17k on my R but I am going to hang the expense and change the break pads. Car stays clean for a week easy, front wheels look rs after 3 days. Me no like.

I've got a bad habit of changing my cars before they need anything changing on them.

But yeah the Mk7 was no different than my Mk6, and my new front set of wheels are looking pretty coated already - at least my chosen alloys only tend to show it up close now due to the color.

that is a tasty wheel and in Japan of all places. I just had my nieces out from Osaka and they never see VW's there let alone something of the age of my Mk2

Good to see the Japs using a non-Jap wheel for the spread too.

How can one have two teams? Especially two with a long and hated rivalry like that? Are you a Crows and Power fan too?

Side note: the Dodgers pay their top six guys collectively more than 21 other teams pay their entire rosters.

That's a lot of wheel budget.

No they haven't changed. I will apply a protection on them as well thanks for share the info.

There it is finally I got my wheels on, they look a bit dark in the picture due to the position of the light, I'll try to take some more pictures from another angle later...
