This thread has been pure wheel porn. I love it.

I'm from NSW, I own a Mk7 R in Lapiz blue and I'm wanting some wheel ideas / ideal specs / recommendations.

I'm hoping you can help me;

I'm after a new set of wheels preferably 18" for better ride comfort around Sydney's horrible roads.

I've been looking at Enkei RPF1 in 18x8 +35 (on a website called autotechnik).
Also would like to know your thoughts on the brand Koya.

I was wondering if you had any other recommendations based off below;

1. 18" 5/112
2. Lighter than stock but still strong to deal with potholes
3. A little bit more aggressive offset than stock but no rubbing.
3. $2k aud limit for wheels alone
4. For colour I prefer Silver (as I feel it suits the Lapiz Blue), but I'm open to other colours

I want to thank you for this threat, i've been googling and searching an half year to find new rims for my mk7 variant 1.4tsi 2015. (lowered front/back 30/30)
After all the posts, yes i've seen ALL of them at least 5 times, I finally bought a new set. And guess what, these rims are not in this threat shown yet
It will take a few days/weeks before they will go on the car depending on the weather but I can tell you the size and show you guys the boxes as teaser
