  • Can the 64gb SSD be upgraded to a bigger unit? 10gb for music is not much these days and I have a 126gb SSD in my to be sold Skoda with a new Tiguan on the way to which I would like to fit a bigger SSD.

      We would not recommend it for warranty purposes. If the unit is open, you have no more warranty.
      IN the past many RNS 510 units have been bricked this way as system board did not fully supported bigger hdd.

      • Have you guys done it as it seems to be an obvious upgrade??

        That leaves the question, why put in only a 60G SSD when the world has moved on to far larger units. Only a car manufacturer would do that!! I suppose the other option is run an SSD externally and plug that in to the USB port. I have about 60G of music on the RNS510 and the DP will also run video so 10G of storage won't touch the sides so to speak.
