For me id rather pay a few bucks more for the two years warranty i get... example, our Amarok tonneau cover was lifting a bit in one edge after about 8months of constant use.... was replaced with a brand new one no questions asked.. Thats the one thing i prefer over Ebay.. assurance!

We're not talking "a few bucks" here though. I bought 2 years of extended warranty for the car just from the money I saved getting my RNS510 from eBay and DIY (Mk6 Golf).
The feeling of getting them to fix your car for free under warranty is great though
I don't actually think I'll be getting $1900 worth of free stuff though (price of 2 year genuine VW extended warranty) - unless the gearbox diesLast edited by Ryan_R; 30-06-2013, 10:53 AM.

Has anyone had a tow bar fitted in Australia yet? I found out that there is apparently a tow bar available with a 50mm hitch receiver. The part number is VGA803921G713.
Im curious what it looks like fitted and if they need to hack away at the bumper to fit it?

Love the way they turn into corners too. I'd get them in a flash if you drive regularly on unlit roads, but not sure about the cost for city driving. Oh, and the led DRLs are nice too - sort of completes the look at the front.
